How to Install SSL Certificate on Oracle Wallet Manager
Initial Instruction
Please verify following process have been completed before you start the SSL Certificate installation.
- Buy/renew SSL Certificate
- Generate CSR with SHA-2 algorithm
- Save the CSR & Private key file on your server directory
- Apply for SSL Certificate Issuance
- Submit SSL issuance Documents as per CA’s requirement (Only For EV & OV Certificates)
Steps to Install SSL on Oracle Wallet Manager
Step 1: Store Certificate Files
After verifying SSL issuance documents your certificate authority will send you SSL Certificate via email in a zip file. This zip file contains your primary, intermediate and root Certificate files. Download it and extract it on your server directory.
Step 2: Install Root and Intermediate Certificate
- Open your Oracle Wallet Manger GUI and navigate to Operations
- Here, select Import Trusted Certificate
- Now select “Select a file that contains the certificate” option
- Browse for the Root certificate file and then click on OK.
Perform the same operation for Intermediate Certificate
- Select Import Trusted Certificate
- Select “Select a file that contains the certificate” option
- Now browse for the Intermediate Certificate file and click on OK.
Root and Intermediate Certificates are installed on Oracle Wallet Manager.
Step 3: Install SSL Certificate
- Open your Oracle Wallet Manger GUI and navigate to Operations
- Here, select Import User Certificate option
- Now select “Select a file that contains the certificate” option.
- Browse for the SSL certificate file and click on OK.
- Oracle Wallet Manager SSL Certificate is now installed.
