Before installing SSL Certificate onto your server, make sure you have completed the following process.

  • Generate CSR
  • Save Private key & CSR
  • Document validation (Only for EV & OV customers)
  • SSL Issuance
  • Download SSL Certificate Files

After finishing the payment process, generate the CSR, for which you can use the CSR Generator tool. Once you add all the asked details correctly and click on the button, the CSR & Private Key gets issued to you in an encrypted form. Save both the CSR & Private Key into your directory.

If you have purchased the DV (Domain Validated) SSL/TLS Certificate, validation of business documents is not required. But for OV (Organization Validated) & EV (Extended Validated) you must provide the business documents.

Domain Validated SSL/TLS Certificate gets issued instantly, but for Organization Validated & Extended Validated SSL/TLS Certificates it takes time. After providing documents wait for CA to response, if all the submitted reports met with the requirement the SSL Certificate gets issued.

Once you download the issued SSL/TLS Certificates, the final step is to install the same. Every server has specific steps to install an SSL/TLS Certificates. Below are the SSL installation guides as per the different servers like Microsoft, Apache, cPanel, Tomcat, Plesk, Oracle, Zimbra, etc. please go through it and follow the steps carefully.

After finishing the process of SSL/TLS certificate installation, once check it with SSL Checker tool and know whether it has been installed correctly or not.
